About This Project:

O’Neal Steel facility, which was built in the early 1960s, was flooded with three feet of water throughout the entire warehouse for 3 days.  Since no as-built construction documents were present to determine what kind of foundations were present, O’Neal Steel was concerned with the movement of the structural steel columns that support the crane rails throughout the shop.

Scope of Work:

Provided as built services, set bench marks on 270 columns to determine movements, identified crane rail elevations and average mean variances, identified and documented columns types, validated bench marks 30 days later to determine if movement was present, presented report showing column type, locations, and variance.
